Dear Judge Orazine:    
 
This will serve as notice of my resignation and retirement as Jailer of McCracken County effective at midnight on July 31, 2005.   This will end 24 years of public service to McCracken County as an elected and appointed county official.

It has been a high honor and privilege to serve the citizens of McCracken County. 

I thank you and the fiscal court for supporting my jail administration.
 
I’m recommending that Deputy Jailer Bill Adams be appointed to fill my unexpired term which ends December 31, 2006.    Deputy Adams is hardworking and honest and will make the county an outstanding jailer.
