www.teamchartconcept.com McCracken County on June 14th became the first jail in the state to begin
utilizing the latest development in health care technology. Ulrich Medical Concepts, a Paducah based company, went "live" with it's Team Chart Concept (TCC) computer software which will allow the jail to efficiently manage healthcare delivery.
Dan Jarrett, President of Ulrich Medical Concepts, said "McCracken County
has the unique opportunity to set a model for correctional facilities
statewide".
TCC will allow the jail medical staff to have a paperless medical record for
each inmate. Jarrett said the medical profession is one of the few that
still rely on paper charting. The jail doctor will be able to access the
jail system from his office. The medical software will also track all
medication and treatments given to each inmate.
Ulrich Medical Concepts has provided training to the medical staff and the
county purchased the computers. Medical Supervisor Bill Adams said the
medical staff will put only the inmates that are presently housed in the
jail in the new system.
