Jail's web site helps locate Indiana Fugitive

The jail's web site has helped in locating a parole violator from
Indiana.

36 year old Michael C. Mcdougal had been booked into the jail on May 23rd under the name of Kevin Russell and charged with auto theft and receiving stolen property.

Russell was being held under a $17,500 bond. The jail received a call from a citizen stating they had looked at the jail's web site and saw that Mc Dougal was using the name Kevin Russell when booked. McDougal was brought to the booking desk at 0645 May 26th and confronted with the information. After several minutes of being questioned by Supervisors Don English and Craig Sanderson, McDougal admitted to using a false name.

McDougal was entered into NCIC which showed he is a parole violator in Indiana and has outstanding warrents in Jefferson and McCracken Counties. McDougal had been booked into the jail almost 10 years ago. The facial scars on the 1995 jail photo matches the 2004 photo.
